Well according to the FSCS Nilrem, we are now in the minorty..... doesn't fill me with confidence.

The reason the FSCS are not forthcoming with timescales is for security reasons they are sending emails out in vary quantities and frequencies, while alternating the times. This way anyone attempting a security breech on ice save, will struggle to effectively implement an attack.
Anyway i got my second email last week, and i have all my money in my account. Thankyou, everyone on here, the UK government and FSCS for being so quick.

Think the FSCS are playing with words to cover up the true picture, why cant they stick to facts, they must know exactly how many 2nd e mails they have sent out, hardly a security issue if we know how many that is!sanfly0

Exactly my point Sanfly..... I don't wanna know when exactly they are sending out the emails, but if the are behind schedule, we should be told. For them to say that the 'vast majority' have been sent out is a bold claim, esp as there are only 8 working days left before Dec 4th.... if a BACS takes 4 working days, they only have til next Thurs to get the rest of the emails out... can't see it myself.'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

,,,it appears they are doing the smaller amounts first ie approx £11.3k ( £1,133,000,000* 100,000)..this would tie ie with security/cashflow issues...0

Why couldn't everyone be given a specific date in the beginning when to Initiate their Account, this could have been informed in the first "E Mail"
Had I been told in my first "E Mail" I could initiate my account on 30th November or 4th December I would have been quite happy to wait, but to keep evryone in limbo like this is absured. We want OUR Money back, and we want it back now and NOT after Christmas.0
