What to look for in a Dustbuster

I am looking to get a handheld dustbuster to save having to lug the hoover out all the time! My little boy makes lots of mess!
What should I look for when getting one?
I am looking for maintenance, hassle free. Just want to have to plug it in and when I need it use it and pop it back on to charge.
Thanks

I've just bought B&Q's own make, it was about £10. Our B&Q has 15% off today, dunno if all stores are doing that.
Anyway, there's nothing fancy about it, but it does the job

Anything less than 12v just isn't worth it. We have 4.6v and its lousy! Robert Dyas often have half price offers on their Dustbusters - I just missed out on the 12v half price to £24.99 just before Christmas. I am waiting for it to come again!Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!

They are not much good for serious cleaning. OK for the odd spill here and there but that is all in my experience.0

Tchibo have an 800 watt hand held vacuum cleaner with a 6 metre cord for £16.99. I admit it's not a dustbuster, but it does come with a 3 year guarantee, and I know you can get Tchibo vouchers on the discount thread...
