hi,
to those of you who have read my previous posts on here re japanese psp, many thanks for your help, esp RIOG!
my challenge for the day is for my son to register on https://www.psp, but cos he has a jap psp apparently uk site won't recognise it for registering. any useful tips on how to get round this, or any reasons why it could be an advantage not to register?

A quick search on google showed this.
orChange the first 2 letters of your serial number to SB rather than FJ, i changed it to SB and my confirmation email was sent immediately.
Make sure you also choose the purchase date to 01 september 2005 if your purchase date doesnt work.
oh yeah, choose the model 1003.
Dont know if this works as i dont have a psp, but good luck to you guys that have an import. If this doesnt work have a look through this 24page forum topicEnter your serial code.
Enter the date as EXACTLY: 31st August 2005
Enter 1003k as the model number.0 -

Register it on https://www.yourpsp.com just put in the serial number, then choose one of the model numbers, it doesn't matter if it's not the correct one, it will still go through.
Just make sure you use Internet Explorer to register, I tried it using Firefox and it wouldn't work properly.
I have a jap psp, and registered it in this way, and got my free UMD movie 0 -
