Deflation doesn't mean everything necessarily decreases in price, only that on average prices decrease.

Petrol is down about 20% in less than a year, my council tax went down 3% this year!

All this talk of deflation when inflation is still way above the 'target' makes me laugh too. When inflation falls below target and stays there for as long as it's been above target then maybe....

Amazing how they're trying to paint inflation as your friend now. Yeah, rising prices...hip hip...
