I agree they certainly don't taste any worse than any other chocolate.

Anyone used any of these in a chocolate fountain? Still looking for a cheaper solution than 'official' fountain chocolate!

From all the commercial chocolates I eaten from around the world (before you ask, I'm thin as a stick!) ;) I find that chocolate from Europe is nicest.. probably because they don't have vegetable fat like UK chocolate does.

Shame ALOT of the chocolate you can buy in Europe isn't available in the UK, but recently UK retailers have stocked some good products, e.g. Ferrero Giotto

Don't understand why US chocolates are almost everything peanut butter related.. fat-tastic..

All in my opinion of course!

  • LesD,

I have used the Asda Value chocolate - 25p for 100g (well actually it was 10p for 100g because there was an error when she put 20 BARS through!) with the chocolate fountain and I don't have to add anything to the chocolate and it works a treat - and tastes lovely.
    All credit cards paid off.

    Catalogue £70
    Catalogue £69

Does it have a Home Bargains, because imo they are the cheapest for chocolate, English or Continental.

  • Just got back from Sainsburys, where they are selling off selection boxes at 74p each, also boxes of own brand truffles for 74p and loads of other chocolatey bits. All has a long use by date too!
