Hi there
I have a query with reagard to p a Linksys home networking kit purchased today, as part of the £39.99 offer at PC World.
The model I have is WGKPC354G-UK.
I purchased the kit so I didn't have to have telephone cable trailing upstairs from the telphone point downstairs. Despite the store assistant assuring me that the kit would work with my tower pc, the included wireless card looks as though it is designed to slot into a laptop.
Having looked at the back of the computer there no open slots available for it to fit.
The only thing I can think of is the the 2 slots below the old dial up modem. Can these be removed to enable me to connect the card?
Thanks in advance

The second one says PCMCIA card - are you sure one with a PCI card is on offer at that price, I thought it was just the PCMCIA version?
If that's the case the OP should be able pick up a PCMCIA to PCI adpater for not much money, to allow him to plug the laptop card in to his desktop, something like this:0
