Newsround are looking to cover the issue of redundancy from a child's point of view. They're looking for a case study of a child aged 9-12 whose parent, or parents, have been made redundant. They'd like to be able to talk to the child about the impact the redundancy has had on them.
Ideally this would take place over the next few weeks and then they may do a follow up nearer to Christmas, given that this could be a particularly trying time for the family.
If your child has been affected and you think they would like to take part, please email chloe.browne@bbc.co.uk
