Sorry for the almighty thread revival, but I just had to post my experience with TLC here from this voucher promotion:
When I first called them in February they said to 'try calling in March, we're fully booked at the moment,m but the voucher promotion has been extended to the end of the year' (NOTHING MORE). I missed calling in March, but decided to call them today, knowing I have some time off work coming up. They informed me that while the vouchers are indeed valid until the end of the year, that I needed to call during March to 'get my name on the list' and that unfortunately I'm too late to make use of the voucher. When I explained that this was not what I was told in February, and that I was not told to ensure that I call before the end of March otherwise my voucher would be useless, the woman, who turned out to be the manager of this promotion, just kept saying 'you were asked to call back in March and you didn't'. Despite telling her that nobody mentioned a list nor a closing date for this list, she was adament not to let me use the voucher.
I'm interested in how sophiedb managed to get a booking in April. I didn't mention the area I live in, and just got a frank refusal to honour the vouchers. Needless to say a copy of this is going off to Allinsons to see if anyone there will help me out at all.
Never believe a word that TLC Marketing says.0
