  • Hi mdbarber,

I have two IQON towers, one of them failed to restore the other week and i was looking to clone the good pc (you were kind enought to post on the thread).

The way I recovered the pc in the end was to keep tapping F8 on boot to get into the boot options - within the menu there was a factory reset option.

Having failed the first time, I was surprised it worked on a re-try.

I'm still looking into cloning the the other drive at present.

yeah i remember unf this berk has gone a lot further than a simple corruption of file system, he has actually re-written the partition table with the windows cd.
As they are not identical machines i can't use the clone method and even then not sure it would work as on researching pc-angel it appears to have some form of licence key control.
Am scanning and researching still so if i find anything more usefull i will post if for future reference
