I wanna Disabled Tuc-Tuc or Similar!

I have given up on the 'making a disabled trike' idea so I thought I would try to find something cheap to run, and fun to drive. I would love a Tuc-Tuc but too expensive, or bikes for 2-4 people like you can hire on holiday, or maybe an electric car, but it needs to be fairly high off the ground for me to get in! It would be great if I could also carry a passenger (or two). I saw a Council truck the other day which was really cute. Any ideas or suggestions on where I can get something different? .

I drive a two-seater Smart car, it's quite high off the ground:

Hiya,
Obviously it depends on your disabilty, but if you want something a bit different how about one of these,

Fantastic Nippi. If I could have that with a back support I would love it! Does it seat two people? And do you have to wear a helmet with trikes?

Fab trike - I just wish I could get on them!
Smart cars are great fun to drive and surprisingly capacious - if you can lift your leg over a trike then it's worth trying the smart - I miss mine :-(Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

I think they need to bring back the Invacar--but with brakes that work <grin>0

I think it's about time that someone designed an 'invalid carriage' that is practical and fun and didn't look so boring. If anyone wants to design an electric trike with a proper seat on it or a 'modern' disabled car I would be first in the queue. Or does anyone know how I can find out about how I can do it myself or who I could approach to help me do it? Or am I missing something really obvious about why no-one has done it already?0
