Who hosts your website ?
Send me a link to your website,
It is possible that Google hasnt updated their Search logs and is showing the error due to you being in the middle of moving or deleting pages. Changes made to websites are not instantly displayed correctly in Google.0 -
Streamline host my website, and I never had any problems before.
Website is www.chocolatefountainshire.co.uk
It may be the case that G haven't updated, but even if I type the url into browser, I get the same messsage.
Have obviously done something really silly, but don't know what!!When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
Have you uploaded an index.htm or index.html file ?
Send a support request in to Streamline and ask if they have a Server problem at the moment0 -

Many thanks. I have just sent them a support ticket, but think it may be something I have done wrong.
It was a index.html file.When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
Did you upload it via FTP ? Binary or ASCII transfer mode ? Checked the CHMOD ?
Sorry, don't want to end up baffling you with too much techie talk ... LOL0 -
Streamline does it automatically and I get the message
File index.html has been transferred to the FTP server using FTP mode FTP_ASCIIWhen life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
Hmm, sounds like it could be a problem at their end then. You'll have to wait and see what their Support team says as I'm out of ideas now.0

I could send you the page url of my Streamline htdocs page..
Maybe if you would kindly take a look at it, you may be able to figure out what I have done wrong.
My Son in Law created the website for me, but I no longer see him, so am really just messing about with the wording sometimes.
I don't really know that much about these sort of things. Many thanks for your help...as I am baffled!!!

Yeah sure, send me a message and I'll have a look at it. I'm not promising I know the answers though, lol.0

I think it could be a server or permissions problem as if you go to http://www.chocolatefountainshire.co.uk/Index.html then your website is working fine.
Maybe someone reading this overnight (its 1-45am UK time) will be able to shed some light on it.0
