what do i have to do next re: sky sat dish but no box

I have just moved into a rented house and found there is a sky dish installed. As the area i live in has a very bad signal for my freview digibox i was thinking of using the sky dish.

What do i need to do next? Get a sky digibox i suppose, but where is the best place to get a cheap one and what is the cheapest way to get connected, i'm not bothered about all the fancy packages sky offer, just the basics would suffice so long as i get the basic channels ready for the digi switch over.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

    YOu don't need them to install the dish but maybe they can send you out the box etc..

    ebay or adtrader, look for a box with a card, else get the card direct from sky for £20, no idea why they sell for more on ebay

    You could also buy a Freesat box and use that instead of Sky.

    Aye, freesat boxes are available cheaply - iirc maplins are currently doing one with dish for £50, however you could use the existing dish.
