Two Photo Calendars for £15

Update Note 7.30pm Wed 3 December:

We've just been told by Snapfish that Max Spielmann/ Klick have gone into administration and they can't guarantee the pick up in store option will be available in all stores.

Update 4pm Thurs 4 Dec. If you've already ordered and arranged for pick-up at a store, this is what Snapfish has told us:

"To ensure you receive your order we will send it out mail order, free of charge, to the billing address on your account. If you would like us to send it to a different address please contact service@snapfish.co.uk with your order number and confirmation of the address you would like it to be sent to.

Please allow an extra few days for your order to arrive whilst we organise redirecting your order to your home address."

Post written Tues 2 December

What's it about?

We've blagged MoneySavers a free photo calendar when you buy one from Snapfish. They usually cost £14.99 each but with the special code you can get two for that price. Order online and pick them up instore for free.

How do I get them?

Use the link below and enter the code "XMASCAL" (there's no commercial link with snapfish - this is a pure blag). You can use the code once.

Snapfish link: http://www.snapfish.co.uk/calendar2for1

Where do I pick them up?

You can use the "pick up in store option" to pick them up in any Max Spielmann or Klick photo store. Use the Klick store finder to find your nearest of either.

Alternatively, pay the £2.98 delivery price (£1.99 for the first calendar and 99p for the extra one) to have them delivered to your home or work address and it works out at £8.99 per calendar.

Get 30 free prints too

If you've never used Snapfish before the link and code above will also give you 30 free prints so it's worth ordering them at the same time.

When does this end?

The offer finishes midnight on Wednesday 31 December.

For anyone who finds this too expensive with the offer, I'm home making calendars by getting photos printed (using Photobox as I can get cashback through PayPal), 15p for each 7.5" x 5" print so only £1.80 per calendar! I suppose you do also have to get some decent card as well, which costs a bit, but it still cheaper :)

This is a bit late for me!

I have already made 2 so far, you can get a photo calender pack in BM (Au Natural) for 99p. It has the 4x6 photo paper, blank calender included. All you need is a printer to print your photos

If you join Vistaprint.co.uk they regularly send out offers of free photo wall and desk calendars, plus other things, though you have to pay postage (I think it was £3.75 this year).

Make sure they're offering free upload of your photos, though, as it'll bump the price if you have to pay the upload fees, and don't go for any extras, such as higher quality paper. They're already good quality anyway. Plenty of choice of designs too.

You can take up the offer as often as they e-mail it to you, but you only have about 24 hours to order. I've had 3 calendars this year (mine are all the same - once uploaded, the photos stay in your account album and it's very easy to reproduce the same item), but you can make them all different if you like.

I've also had postcards (not so good - photo came out very dark and card was a bit flimsy) and business cards (basic no frills, but quality is OK and there's a reasonable choice of full colour designs) for postage price only.

Don't bother taking up their free website trial offer, though. I tried building a couple of pages to see what it was like and ended up paying fees for 3 months, without knowing I'd 'ordered' it, which I would argue I didn't. You can only cancel by phone and they won't refund the fees.

When you complete your order you get lots of last-minute offers of other things at discount prices, but you can just ignore all these.

This is the second year I've got photo wall calendars, and i think they're excellent value when the offer is available. Got desk calendars too last year, which are also good.

At the moment calendars are on offer at £6.99 each and you can get 250 business cards free (except for postage, remember), but if you join Vistaprint they may send you the free offers. Worth a try!

Forgot to say that you can only order one free calendar at a time, (though they'll offer you another at a discount price), so it costs about £3.75 per calendar.
  • I've just tried to order two calendars but when I put the code in it says that it is for 20% off all calendars and was valid from 24/11/2006 to 14/12/2006 - has anyone else had this problem?
  • Just ordered mine - Took me from 10pm to midnight but it was worth it!

I got the £1.50 discount for ordering 2 copies and the half price £14.99 off - £16.47 in total including delivery.

Well pleased. Thank you very much:j
  • I've just tried again and the code worked this time, not sure what I did last night! Am very pleased, two calendars for £16.47! :)
