bush combo TV DVD not loading

i have a bush dvd/vcr combo tv which the dvd player is not recognizing the dvd's but it does play audio cd's. does anyone know if it is a region problem or has experience of the problem. the dvd's are all region 2.
are there any forums that i can go to ?

My standalone Bush DVD player has decided it won't read the 24 series 4 DVD's I got for xmas.

Had it about 3 years and was cheap (£30 ish).

Luckily my PC has a DVD drive.
