The Sovereign Funds have performed poorly. An advisor persuaded my brother to invest in these some years back and he didn't do as well as the stockmarket.
Looking at Money Observer for their performance to 1/12/06 it looks like this:
Sovereign FTSE 100 - 3 years +36%, 7 years +0%
Sovereign Income - 3 years +35%, 7 years +13%
Sovereign Managed - 3 years +31%, 7 years +7%
Sovereign Intntl Growth - 3 years +42%, 7 years +20%
To give you some comparison with the average of various fund types over the same period:
UK income - 3 years +50%, 7 years +45%
UK trackers - 3 years +44%, 7 years +16%
Balanced Managed - 3 years +39%, 7 years +29%
Global growth - 3 years +41%, 7 years +25%0
