Hi all,
Just a quick question really about cdwow. I ordered a cd from them which arrived last Thursday. The CD was a gift and I have since found out that the intended receipient has already got that particular CD and so would like to return the CD and exchange it for another one at cdwow. Cdwow say no returns unless it is faulty but in Martin's consumer rights article it states:
"Under Distance selling regulations, you have seven working days to cancel after receiving the goods". Does this mean that I can send the CD back (it is unopened) to cdwow if I let them know today? If so how do I go about this? (I've already asked cdwow if they will let me exchange it and they said no returns).

This is only my own personal opinion but I think you should be able to send it back for an exchange, however, I would expect you to bare the postage cost. I'm not sure how the exchange would work though, CD WOW just credit your account or something I would guess.0

The Distance Selling laws only apply to the UK, not to Hong Kong or Cyprus etc

I didn't realise cdwow weren't in the the UK :rolleyes: Oh well, looks like i'll have to try sell it on ebay to get some of what I spent back! I'd rather use Play.com or Amazon. I bought a CD from CDWOW years ago and it looked fake tbh.0
