Help!! Inlaws due in 2hrs and run out of Ajax!

Options
Ajax is my favourite cleaning product and I have now run out of it today, sods law also dictates ( I should've known) my corner shop doesn't stock it and there's no chance of me going to Tesco!

So, what else can I use instead of Ajax to get a true clean of my bathrooms & kitchen?

    Hi

You could use shampoo for the bath/sink, i dont know about the kitchen but i cant see why not. Just use a small amount on a damp cloth? Good luck

  • Try bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar (or brown if you don't have white).

Make a creamy paste and rub it into the taps and things to get a good shine.
  • Talcum Powder and Lemon Juice? (I think it is coarse talc anyway)

Hmmm...need to clean the oven first!!

I'm gonna try the vinegar solution, I've also just noticed a black mark along matt painted walls - what could I use to clean this?

It depends mostly on what you think the mark is - but a good first attempt would be hairspray, honest. Spray it on, leave for a few seconds and then wipe it off.

As has been said, a mild solution of vinegar, with a few drops of any essential oil will clean most things.

  • Quick fix - washing up liquid cleans all of the kitchen & bathroom... Think of the logic behind it:
    1. Ceramic Tiles & ceramic dishes = same
    2. Drinking glasses & shower glass enclosure = same
    3. Stainless steel sinks/taps & utensils = same
    4. Smells fresh
    5. Non toxic
    6. Smear free rinsing

I did it the other day before the out laws came for dinner. :-)
