Windows live messenger always starts on boot up and seems to slow my daughters laptop down, how can you stop auto starting, I have tried msconfig.

open messenger, tools>options (may need to press ALT to bring up the list) uncheck something like launch on windows startup, or open with windowsUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0
