Hi! Loates-I'd reccomend Crete (lived there!) or Kos. Would you want all-inclusive, half-board or s/catering? Are night flights on 24th ok?
If you could fill the below in it'd be great!
Check out http://www.camarigarden.com/ FAB place (& we get rates much cheaper than the website offers!) if you want a peacefull break. Check out the web reviews-all fab!
If any MSE 'posters' require quotes/help from me can you please include the following information to allow us to find you the best 'moneysaving' deal!
1-All airports you can fly from
2-Duration
3-1st & last dates to leave the UK
4-Are night flights acceptable ? (Big point as night flights usually cheaper!)
5-Party size & kids ages
6-Board basis you require (ie self-catering, all-inclusive, h/b, bb...etc)
7-Type of resort, ie quiet, lively
8-Any resorts/countries you WOULD NOT go to
9-Any other neccesary factors, ie must have kids
10-Prices required by what day/time?
club, pool, be within 'x' metres from sea...etc
11-Max. budget FOR THE WHOLE PARTY!!! Now I know there is a preconceived idea that if you say maximum £1000 we'll quote £999-99-NOT the case! It just saves us all time, for example if you were looking at peak Season or Whitsun for £125 pp it's a non-starter. Just 'as cheap as posssible' is not a help I'm afraid.
As i said to HLK-will reply before 6pm today if you get me the info by 5ish-then beer calls (!)-otherwise will mail you tomorrow.

Savapenny-only other thing to do is either contact Hotel directly (slim chance!) or HAGGLE as much as possible with Thomson! Just spoke to a collegue who is great on this area & he's stumped too!
Good luck!
Lara-insureandgo (not got url but google it) I think will be cheapest OR https://www.travelsupermarket.com has a 'shop-bot' search for travel insurance that scan's 95% of companies!

Hi Travelman
I would like a quote for Dec 06! lots of time to find a good price I hope!
My OH will be 50 in Dec 06 and we would like to spend a week at Sandals Antigua.
We can fly from London airports. Don't mind night flights, so far all return flights appear to be night time. Would prefer extra leg room seats if available or pay extra for premium economy on return night flight. Dates are fixed, depart 2nd Dec return 9th Dec, arriving in UK on 10th. Have never been to Sandals resort before so any info you have on them re. rooms etc would be appreciated. All info I have seems to indicate this is the ultimate in all inclusive and luxury!! Right up my street!
Budget around £1000- £1200 each.
Many Thanks and no hurry. Happy New Year.0 -
hi Travelman, ive already booked easyjet flights to Olbia on 14th june 06 for 7 nights before reading your thread, paid £112 return for 3 of us which was great, i'm looking for a decent hotel right on a beach in the north east coast, but not having much luck with good prices, dont really want to go to porto cervo as eating out costs a bomb so im told , and we have a 1 year old daughter so not to bothered about nightlife, wouldn't mind H/B option either, any ideas or advice where to book hotels, if i cant find something withing reason i may give up the flight seats as they were cheap and head to villamoura in portugal as i can still get cheap easyjet flights to faro- and stayed at the Tivoli marine hotel which was real nice last spring.0

What a load of !Sh!!e. Anyone who has been around for anytime will realise that you only appear when the trade is quiet. You are everyones best friend for 3 months and then you disapear.Anyone who listens to the p+++ you drivel deserves the holiday they get.0 -
I have got to agree with budgetflyer about you only being here when(trade is quiet) it seems you have nothing else to do.
Then you come back start a new thread(buggering up to one that the likes of myself, saveapenny, budgetflyer and others regularly help others on(the one you yourself started Travelman )(all year round not just every few months when you feel like it).
Sorry if this seems harsh but its definetly the way it looks to me and probably others who come on here frequently.
I am not sure about the way you do business but i certainly would not book with you as you dont sound very reliable at all(and on top of that(whenever my family or friends have called or emailed you to check if you could do better, they never once got any better offers than what i could do myself for them).
I will probably get slated now for voicing my opinion but i dont care because if thats how it looks to me it must to others as well(only thing is i have opened my mouth and said what i think as has budgetflyer)."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0
