  • I joined and I received a fisher price room makeover kit worth £45. We havent did my youngests room yet anyways so it will be useful for us.

Even if i dont get anything else for £5 I cant really complain.

I read somewhere on the web that testers get a ticket for entry into a raffle for every person they get to sign up to the site. Is this correct? If so, it sounds a bit dubious to me as there is obviously a vested interest in recruiting others.

Maybe you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet.

And maybe people so quick to criticise should do their research better.

There are no incentives to recruit, no "referral" bonuses, otherwise talking BB would've been shut down by Board Guides ages ago (and there was a BG that was active on the Parent's Thread, so it would've been caught!). If it's not your thing, fine, but don't automatically be suspicious of other people who have benefitted, whether they have 50 posts or 5,000.

On my joining email it does say that the items you test are yours to keep.

Shellie May will be contacting you shortly to advise you of product being sent through for review. You will be advised of item being sent and also sent through a questionnaire to complete. All items supplied are for you to keep.

Theres always Ebay when bubba is too big for it ;)

I registered a few weeks back and today i have just received a "Crayola happy hands art mat (£18 approx)" for my 22 month old to test - i think she'll have loads of fun testing out this product as its based on "in the night garden".

    :)

Thanks, i was trying to find out if they took paypal instead of debit or credit cards, but couldn't see the answer until after filling in all my details :( They only take cards, so I'll have to miss this one :(

Well I think it is worth a go with the reviews from others on the post, so for £5 shall wait and see what happens!

hi remember the site ethos 'be nice to other moneysavers'
Personally I test products through other channels and do not have to pay. If you are suspicious then use your discretion;)
