I'd like to get my hubby a new all-in-one printer for his birthday (2nd Jan). Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding decent quality and low price? I am looking at up to £100 (but a lot less if poss!). Ta.

all in one priinter?
i have an epson r300, it is a good printer and the cartridges are now very cheap.
however i only use it for photographs, not for printing word documents and the like.
i have an old canon bj250 for word documents.
do you mean a printer which is also a photocopier and scanner?what is the plural of moose?

I would recommend any Epson. They are great and cartridges are so cheap. https://www.northdevoncomputers.com £1 each. Never use Kodak paper, it sucks.
If you really want an all in one what about these:
http://www.pricegrabber.co.uk/search_attrib.php/page_id=21/form_keyword=epson%20printer/rd=1/popup1 click all in one on left hand side
for my money and at the top of your budget is http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0375728439.1136032259@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccaddgimeejffcflgceggdhhmdfhm.0&page=Product&fm=2&sm=0&tm=3&sku=607194&category_oid=-24820 but you might find it slightly cheaper doing a shopbot search. Good luck
Edit - found that last one £30 cheaper here http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?id=4964&pc=dealtime0 -

Have you used them before? If so, how did you find the quality?
Do you know how much delivery is for say 5 colour & 5 black? From a very quick glance, it looks like you've got to register and enter the order before it tells you delivery costs.
Cheers!Nice to save.0 -

Yes, use them all the time. Postage is cheap and delivery for a full pack is usually about 3 days. On 271105 I paid £1.26 del for a full set for 2 full sets it was £2.57. They do quote:
Delivery charges:
We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. Our charges depend on the total weight of your order and will be calculated at checkout prior to making payment.
and I think they stick to it, I've never had a problem and the print quality is the same as my originals were.
They also say:
Cartridge Guarantee
We sell a variety of different brands of compatible ink cartridges which are all the same high quality. This guarantee applies to all cartridges we sell unless stated in the product description.
All cartridges are manufactured to the standard ISO 9001 which guarantees the print quality.
All cartridges contain minute amounts of cleaning agents similar to the Genuine Originals to help keep the heads clear and keep your printer printing error free.
All cartridges contain the same amount of ink as there Genuine Original equivalent cartridge.
We guarantee all of our cartridges will work to an exceptionally high standard providing trouble free printing. Should you ever receive a damaged cartridge or indeed one that does not work correctly, please contact us via email or telephone

Lancs Lass, what did you go for in the end?"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."
