Payments By Third Party.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible for a third party to make credit card payments with their cheque book for you? Since the names would be different? My mother's married name is different from mine and so I was wondering if during her illness I can just write a cheque and send it to the credit card company with an accompanying letter. Or would I have to go to her bank and make a cash payment for her? Thanks for any advice.

It is possible but be prepared for the bank to question you about it.
Its one of the latest frauds unfortunately.0 -
Thanks for the advice. I'll contact her bank find out what they usually do when someone's incapacitated. The last thing I need is to accidentally get her whole account frozen. Thanks again for the information.0

^^ Spam reported. ^^
Edit: That was removed quick! Just a note to say this was originally about the previous post which has now been removed. Not Annie's post!
What is the usual method of quoting spam? Do you quote a little bit of the spam post or do like I did and not have even a scrap of it?
Oh well, at least it's gone.0
