The best/worst seats on a plane

On a personal note, when travelling with Virgin we really struck lucky this year we were in rows 21 and 23 (or thereabouts) both outbound to Florida and inbound, these are in their own little private cabin immediately after premium economy! Shh don't tell anyone else!

Forgot to mention that we were practically first off the plane, first into imigration, then I whizzed off to the rental car que (sorry there wasn't any que) and out the airport in a heartbeat. Left that airport with the biggest smile on our faces until hubby decided to drive the wrong way up the highway. (You would never have guessed that we used to live there)

Some airlines provide seat maps on their website for the fleet they have, but don't tell you which ones are good or not!

You could always ask on http://www.flyertalk.com forums for peoples experiences.
