Euro Cheques where to pay them into in UK

Hi there,
I have just been working in Dublin and have received the payment in Euros, by cheque. Is it best for me to pay them into My Natwest or Abbey sterling current accounts or would it be better to open a euro account? If so where would I go for this. I am not often paid in Euros, but I have two cheques, one for 1800 Euros and one for 2000 Euros.
Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks a million

as they are not drawn in sterling on a uk bank, you need to take them to the foreign desk of your bank. If there isnt one, then take them to the cashier and they will deal with them. Do not list or include them with any UK cheques.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
