Anyone ever been to a webinar?

Hi

I've signed up for a webinar and not sure how it all works and what i need for it. I've been provided with a link to join it but then it also says to join the conference call and it gives a number......do i need to buy a headset....or phone?

Anyone know how it works? In the interests of money saving i don't want to phone if it's costing me, and thinking buying a headset and linking up via the computer would be better....is this how it works?
