Hi..
I was wondering if any of you could please give me some ideas on where to look for a cheap hotel for one night in London on 5ht Jan 09.
I have already looked on Travellodge and Easyhotel but was wondering if there was anything a bit 'classier'
Thanks
Also:
If anyone has any hotel codes/vouchers/sales that they know of that would be great

Try to Hoxton Hotel in London. Has generally cheap room rates and had their famous £1 sale a couple weeks which you miss out on.
I am staying at the K&K Hotel, Earls Court in a few weeks. I did pay by airmiles. Should try to use that route if you have airmiles. Otherwise its room rate aren't too bad.
Try last lastminute.com for their secret hotels. Usually last minute, rates are good and some good hotels when I looked (4/5 star rating).
The cheapest hotels in London are at Heathrow which means a bit of travelling if you coming into Central London but rooms are half of what you would be charged in Central London.
Yes! I have done loads of research into all this.

A quick look at Londontown.com shows that you can have a class hotel for under £100.
The Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes is only £71. My cousin had his wedding there so I know it's gorgeous. http://www.parkplaza.com/londonuk_sherlockholmes
The Copthorne Tara out at Kensington is only £81 and I can personally vouch for that one too. http://www.millenniumhotels.co.uk/copthornetarakensington/index.html
The Park Inn Hyde Park is only £59! http://www.rezidorparkinn.com/cs/Satellite?pagename=ParkInn/integration/hotelInfo&hotelCode=LONPD&language=en0 -
I looked up 4 and 5 star hotels on hotelroundup for you, and there are 4 star from 38 pound and 5 star from 59. Pretty cheap time of year to stay, so you should be able to grab a bargain. http://search.hotelroundup.co.uk/City/London.htm
There is also a great hotel called the Cumberland just near Marble Arch off of Oxfrod St. They have excellent rates, and most of the hotel has just been refurbished.

Hello,
I would suggest to use this travel search engine that compare prices from multiple travel agencies - http://www.trabber.co.uk/hotels/
