Hi yes i had a medical last year ,they do ask you lots of questions on how your dissability affects your daily life ask you to do some touching toes etc.
if it is an arthuritis problem ,i was in about 45 mins ,i took my cousin with me for a bit of morrell support there was no objection to this .
The dr i saw was really nice and put me at my ease .3 weeks later i had my decision .
If you can take someone with you ,do because you will not feel so intimidated .
Iam sure you will be fine .
Good luck.0 -
I have had 3 DLA medicals. They have all been in my home so i did not have to travel anywhere and i found all of them fine. I would not worry i think one the whole they are good and only a few roughe doctors.0

Are you sure it is a DLA medical, and not an IB/ESA medical?
Only because, as far as I know, DLA medicals are always done by visit to the person's home (Thanatos will correct me if I'm wrong)I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

In that case, if you are not well enough to attend a medical somewhere else, you could always ask for a home visit.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
