PC security advice please

hello all, just had issues with my pc, which has involved me taking McAfee of my pc, but I cant uninstall security center or virus scan, says it is still running though ive disabled it.

Also im on AOL, so have there security, I know its not much and they use mcAfee, so how can i get rid of anyhting to do with McAfee?

But im going to need a firewall and free virus scan, or anyhting else you can think of, im not brilliand with PCs, but with instructions im fine.

I do have adaware, its just a free download that scans for little bugs if you know what I mean.

You only need one antivirus and 1 firewall and a couple of Adware removal tools.

Sorry about that on the phone aswell, any of the above will do for a firewall
or AntiVirus if you want any of them be sure to download the programs then uninstall and then install new stuff online if you can to reduce the threat of an intrusion whilst the old firewall is being dealt with...

If you want sygate firewall go here, its has been discontinud but Ive never
had a problem with it so its upto you... Sygate or Kerio or Zonealarm

Ok, Ive got keiro as the firewall, but it wont let aol sign on, so ive disabled it, hey everyone come get me LOL

Uninstall Kerio then and try Sygate....maybe worth a shot...
