Does Ikea normally have a christmas/new year sale?

We're on the verge of buying one but can hold off a couple days if its worth it

I got an email about the sale, but it doesn't really say (about kitchens or anything else.) Example in the e-mail is a computer table at £19 (from £30).
Nothing about it on the website as it hasn't started yet !
