Any tips on sprucing up old Amtico floor?

We are having our kitchen revamped rather than a new kitchen, to try and save money. The only thing we will have replaced is the work surface. The Amtico tiles on the floor (white with black edging) look great for their age but I would love to try and make the most of the floor so it doesn't look out of keeping with the revamp. I currently use a steam floor cleaner (electric) which brings it up quite well but it can be quite dull and still shows the scratches. I have tried using the Klear stuff to give it a bit of a shine but I wonder if anyone else has successfully revamped their floor. I love the design and it is really in keeping with the age of the house.

I have a vinyl floor (not amtico but similar product) in the bathroom that should be done every 6-12 months (done it once in 5 years). Involves using a 3 part system with stripper, polish and maintenance stuff. When I can be bothered with it, it does make it look brand new.
The modern Amtico doesn't appear to need any maintenance but the older stuff can be revitalised http://www.styleflooring.com/AmticoCare.asp?action=add&item=2&count=10 -
Thanks, loracan1 for a very useful link. I have put it into favourites and will probably buy the 3 items from there, seems just what I am after.0
