Potential buyer wants me to end auction early

A potential buyer has offered me a price to end an auction which I think is a good offer. What's the best way for both of us to see this though? Do I just simply end the auction and ask her to pay my paypal account?
Thanks in advance

I would offer to put it on as a 'buy it now!. You don't breach E-bay rules, have som comeback if they don't pay up and you should get feedback. Offer them this and if they say yes just amend your listing.0

Thanks Guys, Am going to email her to say I'll put it on as a buy it now and see how that goes. It's not a massive amount - £35 but I'd rather go through ebay/paypal to protect both of us.0

In my experience, when someone asks you to end your auction early, it is because the item is worth a lot more than you are selling it for. On every occasion I have been asked to do this, I have refused and the item has sold for loads more than I have been offered.
However, maybe in your case 'Buy It Now' is the best offer - the things I have sold have been rare / unusual items (usually something I didn't know, but the buyer did, hence the request to close early)

I've checked completed items and none have reached £35, always been at least a few pounds less. It's a baby item that the potential buyer needs to complete a set. I had the same problem a few months back with something similar so whilst I could maybe make a few quid more I'm quite happy to end the auction early and be guaranteed of £35, and make a future mummy very happy. The item was a gift anyway so I'm not losing out. I've checked her past bought items and it seems genuine. I have sent her an email asking when we're both free to place the item on buy it now and am waiting to hear back from her. I've left the original item on sale for the time being.0 -
might be a problem putting a buy it now option on if you already have bids, if so the buyer might make a paypal payment then you can end the item early, if this is the the case your buyer may pay a couple of pounds extra to cover paypal fees, personaly if i was making a profit on it i would be happy with the £35 without charging extra :rudolf:0

i agree- i had a particularly rare perfume sample and someone offered me £8 as a buy it now- it sold for much more taht that coz i stuck to my guns.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
It's such a tough call when people mail me with an offer on something in an auction. It's nice to sell something quickly, but it removes the fun of watching the auction progress.Happy chappy0
