There will more than likely be a card in the back with an aeriel sticking out.
If it's more than a couple of years old then the chances are not. It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -
Go into Control Panel, Network Connections and look for a device name like Wireless Card0

Is it a desktop or a laptop?0

Thanks, there's no wireless card, just my modem and another 'Realtek' something, which isn't it. Can I buy a wireless card and put it in my pc?
It's a desktop. Iqon, not sure of the model. OS is windows XP, processor is intel celeron.0 -

If it's a desktop then do you need it to be wireless for a specific reason? Wired/ethernet is always preferable over wireless."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

To be honest, I actually don't know. I'm moving my pc the the other end of the room, where there are no sockets. I'm not fussed about running an extension for the plugs etc, I guess I could just run some extra cable for the modem too.0 -

If it is only a modem then you would need a USB extension,
If it is not a wireless router and you want to go wireless then not only will you need one of the cards as above but also a new router0
