So, I have a balance of £1000 on an egg card and I plan on paying this off in the next two months and cancelling. I was wondering, if I did this would it then make me ineligible for their 0% offers if I wished to reapply for an egg card when my 0% runs out on another of my credit cards?
Thanks in advance

You'll have to wait 12 months from closing your Egg Card before you can re-apply as a new customer and benefit from any offers running at that time.
Only one provider (to my knowledge) says you're ineligible for future 0% offers if you re-apply, and that's Nationwide.0 -
It's advisable to check your credit reports to make certain the account is actually closed down and marked "settled" before you re-apply.
The whole process from your initial request can take up to two months, so allow plenty of time. Then, as YB says, wait a further 12 months before you submit a new application.
People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0
