Cashback for just contents insurance?

Hi,

Do you know if I would still get the home insurance cashback from sites like Greasypalm (eg Lloyds TSB 50 quid) if I just get contents insurance, or would that only apply to buildings and contents combined?

I know what you mean, the insurers are a bit vague on this, they just refer to "home insurance". That's not something you can actually buy from them - you can only buy a "building" and/or "contents" insurance - - - may be one way they try to wiggle themselves out of paying the cashback?

I'd assume 'home insurance' can be interpreted as "contents insurance", but best to check with the cashback site first - though they'll probably just refer you that what it says on their site. Don't you get an overall better deal, though, if you take both, your home & contents insurance from the same company?

BTW, have you seen it's £90 from Zurich Insurance via TopCashBack?

I took out Buildings only with Zurich and got £45 cashback with Rpoints and got my Contents with AA and got another £17.50 back as well
