Abbey Zero Card

Can any members let me know if they have experienced problems with the Abbey Zero credit card. I applied for a card online and received a reference number. I called the number a couple of days later to be told they had no record of me on the system. I received a letter from them yesterday enclosing a form to complete saying that the address I put on my application was different from the one they held. I have been at my address for 10 years and haven't experienced problems before yet on the Abbey site it doesn't say you have to hold an account with them. Also very strangely since that application I have been receiving quite a lot of spam emails from Abbey (obvious spam and not from Abbey). I am loathe to complete the form just in case it isn't from them however, it does say you can go into a branch which I might do. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this problem. Also, this card doesn't appear on their website but obviously you can get to it via the link of Martin's homepage re credit cards.

abbey dont care about customers, they cancel applications because they cant cope with the amount of applications they received. I applied in June/July and after been told that they would send out my card they didnt bother and now want me to apply again. They received plenty of good press at launch but none of the media have been reading on this and other sites just how bad they have been and reported it.
