Newcastlenet any flaws

I have about 300K with ing and looking at getting a better instant access return, Newcastlenet are 4.9 (4.85 mthly) with no added tricks is there anything I am missing and why is this saver not mentioned more on this forum? I have found ing to be very easy to use with no faults and I am not a change at the drop of a hat (or interest) sort of guy, is it worth going through all that ID stuff and loss of interest whilst changing over. Will they accept a large (to me it is) amount or is it just regular saving only?

Hi Gary,
I'm in exactly the same position as you. I have a similar amount with ING and would like to retain the flexibility that I have enjoyed to date but with a better rate of interest. To date, Newcastlenet savings, issue 4, seems to offer about the best, "straight" and safe deal, but I'll keep looking during this month for any signs of rate changes.
Best of luck,

Thanks for the reply Paul, I am also waiting for the next rate changes, then I will decide where to put my money, not looking forward to all the ID requirements if I do change, Birmingham Midshire wanted 8 different forms of ID (bills etc) for me and the wife (4 each and had to be different not easy to do, put me off).0
