E-ON November price hike
Acccording to this site, E-ON's last increase was 22nd August.. not so! I changed tarriff in September to their EnergyOnline Extra Saver8. Now I've received their notification of increases effective from 1st November: gas up 43%/22% (primary/secondary units) and elec up 38%/3%... and this is when oil prices (to which we're always told gas prices are linked) are about 40% of their August level.

I too am on this and had the letter, iirc in august i was on the energy online save 5 plan and switched to the online 8 which they did not put up at the time ( i believe this was to get as many people to switch to it) and now they have put up the price to match the August increase for the rest of their range. We all know their answer to the current fuel issue is they brought the gas when it was at levels in july not now in Nov, i reckon they will wait till winter is done in march and then drop them, once they have made some more money out of us for their summer holidays....
does this mean i am a cynical person
