will any govement office/benefit office help towards "Mobility Advance Payment"

Will i be illegible to claim this with the community care grant/loan?

I've already done 3 and asked the mods to come and have a lot at the boards 'cos he/she seems to have gone on a spamming spree.

Sorry haz, we weren't referring to you (although it now looks like it) but a spammer who was starting to take over all the threads.

The posts in question have now been removed so it looks like Waggle Dancer's post follows on from yours.

Yeah sorry! I looked around the FAQs and I couldn't find where to report a spammer. Apologies to the original poster. I hate those spammers!

Motobility have a charity arm which can help with the advance payments and the cost of adaptations, so you could try ringing them for help. Sorry if you've already tried that.

Motability customer services should be able to help you. They /may/ even be able to offer financial assistance. My question is do you really need to make an advance payment ? Have you discussed your choice of car with their advisors, they can be very helpful ? You can get several half way reasonable wheelchair accessible vehicles without advance payment now. You can easily extend your existing lease, if you have one, while you consider their advice so take your time, you have to live with the car for three years.
