Where in Glos are you going to be working?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

I am 29 as of yesterday and am saving as much as I can before I make a move.
I was at Uni till I was 22 so lived away for 4 years. I then spent time finding my feet in work and a Job I liked and was fairly well paid. This took nearly 4 years but I enjoyed life and took several holidays a year and bought a second hand a car etc.
I really stared saving all I could 18 months ago and managed to save currently 25K though some of which I already had. My parents have kindly given me 10K as they can see I am saving really hard. I could not have done this had I been renting.
Its just a case of being very disciplined and making sure your money goes in ISAs and high interest accounts and that you ensure non of the saved money is spent.
I almost bought a house this week but I wanted to ensure I have another 7/9K so that I can put down around 40K as a deposit and have a mortgage of around 68K which is 3 X income and is thus affordable. I will see what the market does and look again around July.
Good luck and don't loose faith.0
