I have an Egg Money query different to the OP's anyone care to offer any advice or should i start a new thread???0

How low is low?
My limit is only £1,500, Ive asked them to increase it many a times but they won't... I imagine its because they don't get a penny interest from me. Doesn't cause too many problems but it can be a bit of a faff when I have to make a couple of payments a month depending on my spending habits.
Overall, I like the card, and I find Egg, on the whole quite easy to deal with (aside from when it comes to applying for new cards!!)0 -
We have Egg Money card and pay off every month so just get the benefit of the cash back which is credited once a year to the card - mind you you can't get anymore than £200.
The APR used to be 7.9 but now seems to have gone up to 12.9 - ok if you pay all off at month end though.
Have had it a while CL £5000 - they aren't very generous even if you have good credit rating.
Good thing at present 2% instant cash back on Shell petrol - which where I live is same price as Sainsbury.0 -

Depends how different. Could go both ways, but I'd suggest start a new thread, make a new post here (since you asked on it) pointing to it summarising it.
Odds are those following this one (because it's Egg) interested in your new post will post there, those not following this one may see the new one.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -

have you tried ring them and asking. i used the on line option and always got refused.
To get the increase I had to have a 1/2hr interview with one of their underwriters via the telephone.0 -

May try that.... got lots of wedding spend coming up over the next few months and it would be handy if I didn't have to keep clearing the card before I could buy stuff!0 -
I got mine a few months ago and have a £4,600 limit, which I was quite pleased with, especially as I've never had a credit card before.0

Thanks everyone. He did want a higher credit limit - his current card gives him £2700. I suppose the only way to find out is to apply.0
