rafi wrote:When we have a thread moved to another board, could we have a link so that we can go direct to it so that we can continue to read the thread? I just did a quick search on the forums to 'Health MoneySaving' and it came up No Result. A link would be useful on the original thread to the new one.
Hello rafi
I moved this thead from the 'In my home' board. If you go to the 'In my home' board, you'll see that this thread is still visible from there too. All you do is click on the thread and it automatically brings you here.........where you can read the posts and submit a reply.:j
I agree with you about the search function, I've found it to be as useful as a chocolate fireguard but then I'm probably doing something wrong.:o

Just out of interest, is this time of year really the worst for SAD? I only ask because I usually feel okay until mid to late Jan when it starts to feel like I am made of lead."Life is like a game of cards. The hand you are dealt isdeterminism; the way you play it is free will.” Jawaharlal NehruI am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wondermentI am a wunderkind ohI am a ground-breaker naive enough to believe thisI am a princess on the way to my throne0

There are different seasonal patterns for SAD many people feel worst when their vitamin d levels are rapidely declining rather than just low and stable.
If you look at suicide statistics they seem to follow a run of cloudy days when you could assume there had been a sudden drop in vitamin d.
If you experience it worst from mid to late January onwards then it looks like your at your worst when the summer store of vitamin d has totally been exhausted.
The Tchibo lightbox will help but treating the underlying deficiency may help more.Healthy Direct via quidco - 21% have a sale at the moment £4.95 360 400iu

Tchibo did one earlier this year at that price but last year they brought it out in the Spring and then wondered why it didn't sell. If they had brought it out in the Autum it would have been a different story.
Tchibo have the lightbox on sale again for £34.90. I know there are also Tchibo discounts around if anyone wants one.
