oh dear

Now I know why Martin says NEVER use your 0% balance Transfer Cards for purchases. I used mine to pay for my car insurance knowing I would be paying that amount off when the bill came( my beautiful mum and dad still pay for it). I have now found out that I am going to pay interest on that £300 even though I think I have paid it off. This is because I still have a balance transfer amount of £2700 and any amount I pay off goes off that first!! I clearly didn't read the small print!
I have now decided that I need to tackle my debts. I have been transfering balances to 0% cards for a while but think it will be a good idea to transfer to a low interest card for the life of the balance and set up a standing order. My problem is that I have a £1000 overdraft and am not sure how to get that onto the card. Has anyone got any tips. I am not sure if AMEX does super balance transfers.
