Hi guys
Has anyone ever booked flights from a non UK website? Did you have any problems, had to pay extra tax etc? I`m thinking of booking flights via Expedia Australia as its £200 cheaper!

As part of a two-centre trip this year, we booked internal flights from madrid to Santander with Ryanair, which is a non-UK website. It charged us the fare, 1 euro each, plus IVA (Spanish VAT) of 7%. So it came to 2.14 euros. This was shown on my Electron card account as about £1.60.0

I have just returned from Vegas and booked the flight with expedia.com.au, had no problems at all at heathrow or begas. go for it! I was also really cautious before I booked and contacted the website and travel authorities who assured it was no illegal.0
