I could have done with a rewind on that one. A couple of those lists of "other savings" (e.g. the one including taking a packed lunch to work & saving £800) were glossed over so quickly that I couldn't take in the details.

The seemed like a nice family though, and genuinely wanted to get straight.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Not seen it yet will wait till tonight, may have nothing to do with this show but I have just had my 18866 bill for this month. It has now gone up to 4p a call that's double what it was in august when I signed up thats a 100% price rise. they seem to do it in the middle of a billing month with out any notice.....

What tees me off is when you don't get through or it's engaged and it takes a few times to get through, you still have to pay the full price for the call.

Off now to find someone cheaper.

    Bye

Soon they will be just as much as BT's 5p and hour call. Maybe a new company will arise. i think 18866 and the other one knew when they were starting out their prices would increase.
  • 1889 is still at 3p, i've been using it for two months now and only got the engaged signal once and never been cut off. Which will probably change now I've posted this !

I know 1899 is still the sister company, but I have just signed up at least they have been 3p since I first saw them, and still are.

Spoz I will have to change the pre dials on my phones now.

Oh well good bye, and fairwell 18866.

  • tsk, tsk you should be following the Telephone Boards where all this info is posted as soon as a price increase is noticed and usually before the customers are notified icon12.gif

www.call18185.co.uk is another company under the same umbrella but cheapest for mobiles at 5p per minute w/days and 2p per minute w/ends with 4p connection charges icon7.gif

New kid on the block is CleverRates with an introductory rate of 1p per minute for mobiles but care needs to be taken as this is likely to rise.
