best party foods

Hi everyone

Can someone help? I am having a party tomorrow night and have decided to do it as painlessly as possible. I am therefore looking for the best shops to buy party foods which can get taken out of the box and placed in the oven without any hassle. I know this isn't a money saving way to hold a party but I want to enjoy myself along with my guests. One thing in particular I am interested in are the sandwich platters which Marks and Spencers sell but unfortunately have none in stock in the North East and ordering them takes two days. Do any other shops sell these platters?

Thanks in advance.

i would say for ease of use and good quality food, marks and spencers all the way!

i love those foil trays that you can take from box to oven, and then ditch once you've finished with them

    enjoy your party!

I think Subway still do them but I think you might have left it too late for them. You could try them though and any other sandwich shops you might have nearby.

Iceland have some good priced party food but overall, I have found the selection and quality in Sainsburys to be the best.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have just returned from shopping and found both Marks and Spencers and Sainsury's to be excellent. I bought lots of the foil tray things from Marks and Spencers and the chicken from Sainsburys. Sainsburys also have accepted a sandwich platter order to be picked up tomorrow. I think I may relax after all as everything currently seems sorted.

    Thanks again.
