The credit card I use is a standard MasterCard from Halifax
I bought a 300 pound acer g24 monitor from a certain shop calledhttp://www.overclockers.co.uk/on 20 Oct, 08, 6:28 pm. It has two stuck pixels on screen. I’ve had numerous correspondences to them and from them and they claim they are allowed to sell monitors with a certain amount of stuck pixels and so will not exchange it. in my opinion 1 stuck pixel and it's faulty as far as i'm concerned
Is it possible to complain to my credit card for a refund and if so how do I go about it.
any advice would be much apreciated

Not sure how much luck you will have. LCD monitors are well known to be likely to have a dead/stuck pixel or two and its generally accepted. Not sure I'd be happy about it though particularly on a £300 monitor.
I've dealt with overclockers a few times in the past and the only time I had an issue it was resolved reasonably quickly. I would approach them again and question where on the item description does it state that they are allowed to have one or more defects?
As for your credit card, I'd just phone them up and explain the situation and ask what they can do to help.
Edit: I also remember reading that sometimes you can massage the pixels into life. Have you tried this?0
