This is better than Felixstowe docks thread.
Funny how sometimes you see a thread run and run for months and never bother to pop your head in cos you think it won't be interesting. I finally clicked on the Interflora scam one the other day and was astounded at the goings-on!0 -
Then again, you're focussing in Scotland only, so this may be misleading as Scotland is a long way from the English border.
I think I can confidentally assert that you are completely wrong in this statement.
(Unless of course you meant the English border with Wales in which case I'll grudgingly concede the point although I would quibble whether half a day's driving constitutes 'a long way').:D;)

brit1234 - like the pic. u r in the lead!
. i buy at 12% yield. so if rates rise to 12% i am breaking even.
.
.
WHEN was the last time anyone bought at 12% or more yields....a long time ago.. ajay i have read your blogs and you are a ramper and i do not for one minute believe that all your property is 12%yield....leverage is a killer..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

I have no idea what you mean.
Hey Brit I get a bit hacked off with my fellow Bulls sometimes, some of them think that the market may tumble 25-30% , how ridiculousThen again some of your fellow Bears are not exactly the types you would wish to be stuck in the trenches with
check my footer for a classic example, looks like many are bottling out of the 70% club
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
hey Brit - i never realised that you were an ex-landlord. how come you didn't tell us?Do you know why he selling? There quit a few landlords I know selling now in Berkshire. I sold one of mine a few weeks ago to make my portfolio a little sturdier due to the climate.0

That's a revelation chucky. I'll watch for his response.0

Is there a difference on this forum that commentators are all experts or is this anti ajay (know little about him other than reading all these posts) sentiment the equivalent of 'those who can't teach!'
Green eyed monster territory it certainly seems to be.0 -
