Icesave ISA/Tesco Internet Saver Q

Hi,

Just a quick (probably daft!) question or two! I had an Icesave ISA which I've just received back in my linked current account.

Can I transfer it out into a normal savings account (the Tesco one, to get the bonus points!) and then back into my current account, before moving it on into a new ISA? Or can it only go straight to a new ISA? Does it matter if I keep the amount whole or split it up?

Thanks!

You can certainly put it into an interest paying account while you wait for the ISA form but you obviously don't want to leave it there for any length of time.

I assume that the form that comes from FSCS will only allow you to invest all of it in one go. Havent got any experience of splitting ISA - I have always moved the whole amount and closed the account.
