Hi,
I'm off to poland on the 27th of December and am wondering if I should change money now or wait until nearer the time. I found this...
http://www.exchange-rates.org/history/PLN/GBP/G
...which suggests I should have changed it at the end of October, but not found anything to suggest what is going to happen in the future. Anyone have any ideas?
Sorry if this is a FAQ, I have searched but not found anything.
Ta,
J

If anyone knew what the currency markets were gonna do we would be to busy selling everything we owned, to make a very easy fat profit, to answer this question.
Its no different to asking what the stock exchange is going to do next month, consider if you will not long ago, in the past year I was buying dollars at $2.03 to the £ and now I can sell them for $1.60 to the £ therefore a potential profit of 20%+ which is way above and beyond any interest rate a bank could give me.
all the best

I know it's not possible to tell for sure, but I thought it might be possible to say what is likely. I thought someone might say something like "the peak at the end of october was so high it's unlikly to reach that again this year". Is it totally unpredicatable?0

Alas currency trading isnt an exact science, there were plenty of people who were saying a few weeks ago the dollar wont go any lower etc etc and hey presto it does.
To be able to predict the markets is to predict the future and if you can do that any chance of coming up with 6 numbers between 1 and 49 for me.
