The Big Bug Hunt is a series of fun and exciting fundraising activities tailored to the abilities and interests of pre-school children. So many events have taken place in September and October 2008, that this activity has now been extended up to February 2009. By taking part, you'll be joining hundreds of other playgroups and nurseries in helping to protect children from meningitis.
It's Simple...
All you need to do is either:

• Run a sponsored Bug Hunt to find Cheeky Bug and his friends
• Or, set up a sponsored obstacle course, using soft play materials or outdoor toys to reach Cheeky bug at the end

We're sure you can come up with lots of other ideas too, from running a parent's raffle to making bugs or health your theme for a week. But just in case you're stuck, our Free Resource Pack will help get you started and even show you how the Big Bug Hunt helps meet the Early Years Foundation Stage criteria.
